"Postcard Memories" by residents of Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare & Rehabilitation Artist-residents brought their own (or selected from instructor's supply) postcards of places they, or their loved ones had visited, or which resembled places they had been. They then used watercolors to extend their postcard's landscape. One resident noted, "we're just making the scene complete; the way we want it; the way it should look." Artists: Irving Ascalon, Edith Burris, Anthony DelMonte, Catherine Dougherty, Viola Fox, Ruthe Goldberg, Maize, Mary Manganaro, Jack Moum, Marion Nesbitt, Olga, Ivy Tinkler and Madeline Willis. These works were displayed along side other artists' works in the Alliance of Queens Artist's exhibition, "Remembrance". This exhibition was in the AQA Gallery from August 27th - September 17th, 2005.

| Pictured right: Karin Cohen, Parker's art director, is in front of a wall-hanging project, "When I Lived There" which was also displayed during "Remembrance". Artist/residents used felt, canvas and felt-tipped markers to create an image of their childhood homes. With locations from Iran to Hollis Queens, the details of these homes are still fresh and vivid to their former occupants. Stories of tree-climbing, double-dutch and chores kept all entertained, and sparked the peom (written by the group) on the bottom of the wall-hanging.
