Margit Lane was a Holocaust survivor. She first studied art in Vienna, Austria. Later in the United States, she studied at the Museum of Modern Art, Art Students League, and in Woodstock. She had exhibited in the National Acedemy of Design, Queens Museum, Jacob Javits Center, Federal Hall, Warner Communications, The Pen & Brush Gallery, Lincoln Center and St. John's University. Margit has received many awards in group shows.
