     The Alliance of Queens Artists (AQA) is dedicated to the promotion, appreciation and creation of the visual arts and skilled crafts.  We believe serving the public is the best way for locals artists to establish themselves in the community. This basic tenet affords us government and corporate funding. Each new member brings talents and expertise that add to our ever-evolving organization.
     The AQA is an excellent opportunity for artists to exhibit, teach, sell and contribute skills to one of the few arts organization that benefits the local artists of New York. We do not work as an artist's agent, but this is the place to exhibit, network, learn and gain experience.
    With thirteen exhibitions a year, you'll have plenty ogf opportunity to exhibit and benefit from press coverage.  Your success depends not only on your talent, but on how your utilize all the other tools at your disposal The AQA is a great asset. Each exhibiting artist is encouraged to invite family, friends and their patrons to the receptions at the AQA Gallery. They will view some of the best artwork from the New York City area. Our art exhibitions and special events help the public explore the rich diversity of New York City. Our main objective is to make the visual arts available to the general public by presenting exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and other art related activities in locations throughout the entire New York City metropolitan area.  The public should be able to view art first-hand, be able to speak with artists face-to-face and to learn about art in a friendly environment. By becoming a member of the AQA, you demonstrate your commitment to your own art and to the advancement of the visual arts in your community.  Make an appointment to come to the AQA Gallery (call the Gallery or e-mail).  If your artwork is too large to carry, slides or photographs will do. Artist membership is $50 a year. All new members can have their web sites linked with ours on our Artists' Page. If you do not have a website, we can set up a webpage with 12 of your images for a nominal fee. When you join the Alliance of Queens Artists, you become part of a well-established visual arts organization that is experienced in arranging exhibits, lecture series, and other art related events.
      We cannot make you a great artist. That has to come from you. But, we can be your guide. The question is... are you ready for the next step?
