VIP Memberships, The Alliance of Queens Artists is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation, appreciation and the promotion of the visual arts for the benefit of the entire community. We have been providing exhibitions, lectures, hands-on demonstrations and other art related events since 1979. Most AQA programs and events are free to the public. This has been made possible through grants, sponsorships, membership dues and various private donations. But, as with everything, the Alliance of Queens Artists has growing expenses while facing reduced funding. That's why we are always looking for new sources of revenue and funding. Corporate grants and your private sponsorships will enable us to continue our goal of bringing art back to the people. All grants and sponsorships are individually tailored to the needs of the corporate sponsor or individual. You may also sponsor individual exhibitions, lecture series and programs. You may even sponsor a student from a low-income family to take art lessons. (There are numerous studies showing how art benefits other academic skills.) Some individuals have donated in the name of a loved one. Some have even left a donation in their wills, although we prefer that people donate during their lifetimes, so that they may see the good that their donations may do. We will list your company and logo on all supporting material (invitations, applications, newsletters, press releases, etc.), and include your logo (with link to your website) on our website. Of course, all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. It is our hope that after you have taken the time to view the AQA website, you will want to join the growing list of supporters of the Alliance by becoming a VIP member, or by supplying a grant, by making a personal donation or plan a corporate sponsorship to a specific exhibition or program. The corporations on the "Our Sponsors" page are just some of the supporters of the Alliance of Queens Artists. Your membership will support AQA programs not covered by grants. With the Basic Membership of $75 you will receive:- AQA newsletters, the 2008 exhibition schedule, applications and invitations to all shows and events. - reduced Member's Price for you and spouse to the Annual Costume Ball and Dinner scheduled for Friday, October 24th, 2008 .
